The MASST program is an early intervention initiative that supports children and youth between the ages of five and 12 who exhibit behaviour that puts them at risk of criminal involvement, or who are at increased risk of being victimized. MASST consists of a police officer and a registered social worker who work closely with the Calgary school boards. While the focus is on children, MASST also empowers parents, siblings, schools and community agencies.
